Gray Transitional Kitchen with Open Shelving

Source: flickr.com via Michelle on Pinterest

This is a great example on how to create a transitional space by mixing traditionally built cabinets with contemporary design elements.  The face-framed cabinets with inset doors and drawer-fronts provide the traditional elements; the light fixtures, the industrial steel island, the open white upper shelves and of course the gray painted cabinets, provide the contemporary elements.  And together they all come together to a great look!
