Walnut Modular Kitchens by Scavolini

The two walnut kitchens featured above are in the 'Reflex' series by Scavolini.  Both kitchens have grey walls; one uses black as the second color and the other an off-white.

Modular Modern Cabinets - Scavolini

Today we begin an entirely different look and concept in cabinet design then  the inset cabinetry we have been previously featuring.

The kitchens featured on this post are from the Atelier series by Scavolini.

All of these kitchens are made up using frame-less modular cabinets.  In short, modular cabinets are a form of semi-custom cabinets, allowing you to pick and choose the cabinet units you want to suit your space and lifestyle.  Picture each door cabinet, bank of drawers or appliance cabinets as separate units that could, at the design stage, be shuffled around to create a configuration that suits you.

You will notice that typically, appliances are built into the system rather than being free-standing units.

Colorful Curved Kitchen by Extreme Design

The playful mix of traditional grey inset cabinets and contemporary pieces is really well done here.  Add the curved element and we have to say Extreme Design from the UK has done a great job.

Contemporary English Kitchen Furniture

This contemporary Martin Moore &Company kitchen is a wonderful example of how to combine traditional and contemporary elements to create a transitional look.  The cabinets are inset face-framed in what appears to be a stained oak.  Drawer fronts are flat slabs and the doors are a variation of shaker style doors.
